Irwin Goldfarb, FCAS, is an accomplished insurance executive working as an independent consultant since 2021. Irwin has unique expertise in global financial lines/ professional lines including underwriting, actuarial, finance and reinsurance. In 2020, Irwin retired after spending 25 years in the Financial Lines division ( D&O, E&O, EPLI, Cyber, M&A, Fidelity and K&R ) at AIG where he served in various roles including Global & North America Chief Underwriting Officer, which included responsibility for Actuarial Pricing and Underwriter Training , North America CFO and Reinsurance Coordinator. He previously spent 14 years at Home Insurance primarily as Senior VP of the Specialty Lines Division ( E&O, D&O, Aviation, Trucking and E&S Casulaty/Property ) with responsibility for financial reporting, actuarial pricing, reinsurance and co-managed a large book of professional liabilty MGA programs. He also served two years as SVP & Chief Actuary of the comapny.
