Susan Gozzo Andrews, FCAS, MAAA, PIR, RPLU+

Sue has served as a regulatory actuary for the Connecticut Insurance Department since February 2012 in both the Financial Regulation Division including two years as Chief Property Casualty Actuary performing Financial Analysis and Financial Examinations, and in the Property Casualty Division reviewing rate filings. Sue served as an instructor for the NAIC’s course on Risk-Focused Examinations: The Role of the Examining Actuary. Prior to joining the Department, Sue was a consulting actuary with Deloitte for eighteen years, and is a proud alumnus of the Aetna Life & Casualty actuarial student program where she spent ten years early in her career. Sue is a member of American Academy of Actuary’s Committee on Property Liability Financial Reporting (COPLFR) and a current instructor for AAA’s Seminar on Effective Property Casualty Loss Reserve Opinions.
